How to Make Spring Roll for Diabetics: Step-by-Step Guide

1
Prepare the dough

Take 200g Diabexy Atta in a bowl. Add salt as per taste. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

2
Prepare the filling

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 1 tbsp jeera and let it splutter. Add chopped onion, green chilli, and sauté until translucent. Add chopped cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes.

3
Add spices

Add ½ tbsp haldi powder, 2 tbsp chilli flakes, and salt to taste. Mix well. Add chopped coriander and cook for another minute. Turn off heat and let the filling cool.

4
Roll the sheets

Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin, round sheet (like a chapati).

5
Assemble spring rolls

Place a spoonful of filling on one side of the rolled sheet. Fold the sides inward, then roll tightly from the filling side to the end. Seal the edge with a little water.

6
Fry the spring rolls

Heat oil in a deep pan. Once hot, carefully add the spring rolls. Fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy on all sides.

7
Serve

Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
